Product details

Our company uses the highest quality coconut shell and fruit core shell as raw materials to process and produce activated carbon. The coconut shell activated carbon produced by our company is made from high-quality coconut shell and processed through carbonization, activation, and later refining processes. The appearance is black and granular. The product has a well-developed microporous structure, fast adsorption rate, short adsorption cycle, low impurity content, good surface cleanliness, high wear resistance, rounded edges, uniform particle size, and repeated regeneration and use.

Coconut shell activated carbon is widely used in the purification, dechlorination, oil removal, deodorization and other deep purification treatments of drinking water, industrial circulating water, power plant boiler circulating water, electronic industry, beverage and food industry water. It has excellent efficacy in purifying pure water and high-purity water. Generally, an activated carbon filter is installed in front of the cation exchanger during the desalination process. Due to the large specific surface area and numerous micropores on the surface of coconut shell activated carbon, it has extremely high adsorption capacity. Activated carbon has a large number of functional groups such as hydroxyl and carboxyl groups on its surface, which can chemically adsorb various organic substances and exert electrostatic attraction. Therefore, activated carbon can also remove organic substances such as humic acid, fulvic acid, and lignosulfonic acid that are harmful to anion exchangers in water, as well as substances such as free residual chlorine that are harmful to cation exchangers, thereby improving the desalination capacity. Usually, activated carbon can remove 63% -86% of colloidal substances, about 50% of iron, and 47% -60% of organic matter.

Coconut shell activated carbon is used for gas separation and recovery in industries such as chemical, petrochemical, coking, and environmental protection, as well as for purifying harmful industrial gases such as SO2, chlorobenzene, octane, ethylamine, dimethylbenzene, cyclohexane, methyl ether, hydrogen bromide, sulfur dioxide, carbon disulfide, vinyl chloride, methanol, acetone, nitrogen oxides, and dioxins. Applied to the carrier of Type I industrial catalysts (sulfonated titanium cyanocobalt or polytitanium cyanocobalt) for alkali free mercaptan removal of refined oil in various refineries.
